The New Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Ga East Municipal Assembly Ms. Deborah Ampofo and the Presiding Member (PM), Mr. Bright Paul Mintah were both sworn into office to kick-start official duties.

The swearing-in took place at the Kwabenya Circuit Court on Monday, 26th February,2024.

The Hon. MCE and Hon. PM took the Oaths of Office, Allegiance, and Secrecy, administered by Her Honour Mawusi Bedjrah, Kwabenya Circuit Judge.

Among the witnesses at the Court were the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Nii-Amarh Ashitey, the NPP Dome – Kwabenya Secretary, Mr. Theophilus Ansah Larbi, and Organizer Mahmud Kwadwo Asamoah, Assembly Members for Abokobi, Hon. Vida Tangwan, Haatso, Hon. Philip Nii Kpakpo Samoah Addoquaye and Ablorh Adjei, Hon. Wisdom Amegbedze.
