The new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Ga East Municipal Assembly (GEMA), Hon Deborah Ampofo, on Monday, 26th February 2024, embarked on a tour of the various offices of the Assembly at Abokobi on her first official day at work.

The Hon. MCE was led by the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD), Mr. Nii-Amarh Ashitey, Human Resource Manager, Ms. Marianne Aba Abraham, and the Public Relations Office, Okunyin Boaz Orlan Hackman. together with other heads of departments.

The tour started from the Main Office Block and continued at the other offices on the compound including the Agric Department and the Municipal Education Directorate.

Hon. Deborah Ampofo had a conversation with the Heads and Staff in their respective offices, giving her the chance to learn about their routines.

She advised the National Service Personnel to obey their superiors, work hard, be humble, and show respect in the discharge of their duties.
