KWABENYA SHS, OTHERS RECEIVE PPE FROM GOVERNMENT
The Kwabenya Senior High School, the only public Senior High School (SHS) in the Ga East Municipality, and others have received their share of the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) promised by the Government as part of the safety protocols to ensure the protection of students against the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic following the reopening of Senior High Schools for Final Year Students to prepare and sit for their external examination.
The items included Veronica Buckets, Liquid Soap, Sanitizers, Tissues, Thermometer Guns and Face Masks.
Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Ga East Municipal Assembly (GEMA), Hon. Janet Tulasi Mensah, has duly presented the items to various schools in the municipality through the Municipal Education Directorate.
On Wednesday, the Municipal Director of Education (MDE), Ms. Faustina Alimatu Braimah, on behalf of the MCE, presented some of the items to the Kwabenya Senior High School (SHS) at a brief ceremony at school's premises.
The items were received by the Headmistress of the School, Ms. Rahinatu Salifu.
