Reigning WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston has paid a surprise visit to Taifa Polyclinic in Accra after he returns to his home country Ghana on a 4-day visit.
The wrestler born Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region paid a courtesy call on the President of Ghana H.E Nana Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House yesterday May 30, to present his world title belt to the presidency.
On his day 2 tour in Ghana, the professional wrestler together with the UNICEF team of WWE visited the Taifa Polyclinic in Accra.
At the health facility, Kofi Kingston observed how UNICEF supports the health sector in ensuring that children are well-nourished and protected from vaccine-preventable diseases.
He also presented birth certificates to three children and congratulated parents and caregivers for ensuring that their children have an identity.
He also visited the Taifa Community Schools.

The 37-year-old will also be at the Manhyia Palace to pay homage to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II tomorrow.
Other activities include a Children’s Rally, visits to Tourist Sites and places like the Lake Bosomtwe, the Christianborg (Osu) Castle, Bonwire and Ntonso, a visit to the Mother and Baby Unit at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, and visits to Ejisu and Atwima Techiman which are his paternal and maternal hometowns respectively.
